Oh, its 2022 and fade seldom if ever works. Trying to make a single work take up the entire screen of a video. But now, Jobs is not a possibility anymore, and they have to run on their own steam. In some ways, it reminds me of how Apple was before the late 90s. Don't think I'm the only one getting the behavior in the video below since it happens every time you move a clip with auto crossfade activated (when you have data in take. And in that case the move crossfade tool doesn't help. A big one is how they have a tendency to treat calls as if users are all idiots, can't tell the difference between a power cord and a cupcake. Well, my main purpose for utilizing the auto cross fade is actually to be able to easily move clips to adjust timing. I then tried closing the web page entirely, and re-launching Spotify again playback control was still screwed up (the song played, but I couldnt skip forward or anything else). In the past decade or so, I've increasingly grown annoyed at Apple's disregard for complaints. One thing Ive noticed: after the most recent time of this happening, I was still unable to get playback to work correctly even after re-launching Spotify and Chrome/JQBX. At that time, things worked, didn't constantly come with extensive and annoying tie-ins meant to rope you into some continuous charge for subscriptions or to purchase something. If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here. ![]() Turn the Crossfader back on and change the value. If you still don't see the change, try the following: Open Spotify, turn the Crossfade off and then restart Spotify. Apple is not anything like it was when I returned to it back in 2005. Just make sure your app is updated to the latest version. ![]() If it wasn't for the fact that everything I have is in the Apple environment (I refuse to call it an ecosystem, because it isn't) I would seriously consider leaving Apple behind. And sadly, for many of them I haven't been able to find suitable substitutions either free or purchasable. studio monitors or speakers if that happens to be your problem. Not sure about external audio outputs e.g. in different locations (because maybe youre quarantining), check out JQBX. It doesn't matter if you move the cross fader if the tracks are cued unless you have your headphones mix to master. The problem is that keeping taps on your downloads especially if you download. #Jqbx crossfade not working for freeLike many things in many of the Apple applications that come for free on the computer, they either are too buggy, barely feature complete, or don't work. If you are listening through headphones, you may be listening to all your cued tracks. ![]()
